Red Hood is a DC Comics character primarily associated with the Batman mythos. He is most famously known as the resurrected Jason Todd, the second Robin.

Jason Todd first appeared as Robin in *Batman* #357 (March 1983). He was killed by the Joker in the infamous "A Death in the Family" storyline. Years later, he was resurrected via the Lazarus Pit.

Upon his resurrection, Jason became a vigilante known as the Red Hood, taking on a more brutal and lethal approach to crime-fighting than Batman's. He often clashes with Batman due to their differing ideologies and methods.
